Hawaii Impact Windows is a brand of Hawaii Materials Co. These order terms apply to windows supplied by Hawaii Materials Co. under the Hawaii Impact Windows brand through hawaiiimpactwindows.com. Read this guidance together with your accepted quotation, agreed specifications and written order documents before approving an order or paying a deposit.

Window supply and project responsibilities
Hawaii Materials Co. supplies windows under the Hawaii Impact Windows brand. Installation is arranged separately with your chosen contractor. Supply does not automatically include site surveys, engineering, permitting, removal of existing windows, installation, site preparation or unloading. Confirm any included services and receiving responsibilities in the written quotation. You and your project professionals should confirm final measurements and project requirements; this responsibility does not excuse supplier errors, inaccurate product descriptions or defective goods.
Product selection and supporting documents
Identify window styles, opening references, quantities, frame materials and finishes, glazing, handing or opening direction, screens, hardware and accessories in the proposed order. Website images and style names illustrate options; they do not establish the specification or rating of a particular window.
Any impact-performance claim must be supported by documentation for the exact window assembly and configuration quoted. A business name, style name or image does not establish a rating. Documented product ratings are different from installed performance, which depends on installation requirements and site conditions. Your project professionals should check the proposed system against the applicable project, code and insurance requirements. No window is described here as hurricane-proof or suitable for every installation location.
Review the selected finish and any approved sample. Lighting, screens and manufacturing batches can affect appearance. Record agreed specifications, samples and tolerances in the order documents. Reasonable appearance variations do not excuse incorrect specifications or defects.
Quotations and order confirmation
An inquiry does not place an order or reserve products. Review a written quotation and final specifications before approving the order. Check window descriptions, opening identifiers, quantities, dimensions, finishes, glazing, hardware, pricing, freight arrangements, inclusions, exclusions and any stated quotation validity. Resolve questions and request corrections before approval. Obtain written confirmation of the agreed order and keep the final version with your project records.
Payment arrangements
A deposit is required before order processing, sourcing or production begins. The accepted quotation states the deposit amount and payment schedule. Remaining balances are generally due before shipment unless otherwise agreed in writing. Obtain the order-specific payment instructions and confirm any unexpected changes with info@hawaiiimpactwindows.com before sending funds.
Order deposits: Deposits are nonrefundable under the agreed order terms, subject to applicable law and written exceptions. Review these terms before paying. A change or cancellation request does not itself authorize a refund. Any approved exception must be confirmed in writing.
Measurements, schedules and revisions
Give each opening an identifier and specify the width, height and measurement units. Distinguish rough-opening dimensions from window-unit sizes, and clearly label preliminary measurements. You and your contractor or design team should confirm final ordering dimensions, quantities, handing, finishes, glazing and other requirements before approval.
Include the current drawing or window-schedule revision, project location and island, target timing and freight requirements. Send relevant plans, schedules, specifications or photographs by email to info@hawaiiimpactwindows.com; the website inquiry form has no file-upload field. Remove unrelated sensitive information from supporting documents.
If a dimension, quantity, finish or configuration changes, identify the affected openings and drawing revision. Request an updated proposal and written confirmation of any effect on price or timing. A requested revision is not accepted until confirmed in writing.
Availability and estimated timing
Availability, manufacturing, production and delivery schedules depend on the selected system, configuration, quantities, supplier capacity and freight arrangements. Schedules are estimates, not guarantees. Discuss essential project deadlines before approving the order, and confirm the current delivery estimate before committing installation labor or equipment. Do not assume an advertised style is held in local stock.
Freight, delivery and receiving arrangements
Provide the project island, delivery address or ZIP code, receiving contact, receiving availability and access restrictions. Confirm the delivery method, freight scope and charges, unloading equipment and labor, and safe storage arrangements before dispatch. Do not assume unloading is included. Delivery coverage and arrangements are confirmed for each order; delivery to every island is not promised.
If a temporary shipping container is expressly included in your order, review its written security-deposit, access, unloading, pickup or return and condition requirements, along with any agreed charges. A container security deposit is distinct from the order deposit. Temporary-container arrangements do not apply automatically to other deliveries.
Checking a delivery and reporting a problem
Inspect the packaging and quantities on arrival and compare product labels, glass, frames, hardware, screens and other components against the agreed order. Record visible damage, incorrect items or shortages on the delivery paperwork where possible. Photograph the packaging, affected items and identifying labels.
Report damaged, defective, incorrect or incomplete deliveries promptly to info@hawaiiimpactwindows.com, with the order reference, affected opening or item identifiers and supporting photographs. Report issues discovered after unpacking as well. Signing a delivery receipt does not automatically waive rights relating to concealed damage. Follow applicable handling and storage instructions while the issue is reviewed.
These product issues are reviewed separately from change-of-mind requests. General cancellation and return restrictions do not remove applicable legal rights. Keep relevant order and delivery records and obtain instructions before returning goods.
Changes, cancellation and return requests
Some windows are ordered or manufactured for approved dimensions, finishes, glazing and configurations. Review your selections before approval; not every product is custom-made. The order-deposit provisions apply subject to applicable law and written exceptions.
Changes before supplier commitments
Contact info@hawaiiimpactwindows.com promptly with your order reference and the requested change or cancellation. Ask for written confirmation of the order status and how the request and any payment will be treated. Sending a request does not cancel the order or authorize a refund.
After confirmation and supplier commitments
Cancellations, returns and exchanges are generally not accepted once an order has been confirmed and supplier commitments have been made. A requested change or cancellation is not accepted until confirmed in writing. Any approved exception remains subject to applicable law.
Written return or exchange authorization
Contact support before returning goods. Provide the reason, affected products and relevant photographs or documents. Obtain written confirmation of the approved destination and shipping or collection arrangements before sending anything. Do not use an assumed return address.
Damaged, defective, incorrect or incomplete goods
Report these concerns using the delivery-issue procedure. They are reviewed separately from change-of-mind requests, with applicable legal rights preserved.
Approved refunds
Where a refund is approved, obtain written confirmation of the amount, method and processing arrangements for your case. Contact info@hawaiiimpactwindows.com with the order reference for an update. A request alone is not approval of a refund.
Warranty information and product care
Request the warranty documents for the specific products in your quotation, including the provider, coverage, exclusions and claim procedure. Keep the invoice, product identification, delivery records and installation records. Follow the manufacturer's handling, installation, cleaning and maintenance instructions. No uniform warranty is promised across all products. Report suspected defects or discrepancies to info@hawaiiimpactwindows.com; warranty documentation and care requirements do not remove rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
